Anthony J. Wilkinson the creator of "My Big Gay Italian Wedding" and "My Big Gay Italian Funeral" is brining the third part of the trilogy "My Big Gay Italian Midlife Crisis" Off-Broadway to The Theatre Center this fall. Previews will be held November 12th, 19th and 25th 2015 at 8pm and the shows official opening will be December 3rd, 2015 at 8pm. Midlife Crisis will play in the Anne L. Bernstein Theatre, sharing the space with "Perfect Crime."

In the third chapter of the Big Gay Italian trilogy. Wilkinson's character (Anthony Pinnunziato) is approaching his 40's and is faced with the challenges of balancing his now very successful weight loss company with past and present gay relationships. Fun familiar characters and some new ones come together to join him on his journey in another outrageous comedy of errors. "The wedding is the fantasy, the funeral is the reality and the mid life crisis is when you finally figure out the difference between the two," said Wilkinson.

"My Big Gay Italian Wedding" and "My Big Gay Italian Funeral" closed officially at St. Luke's Theatre last night. The future of these two productions is not yet determined as Wilkinson is staying focused on his new production and is excited to have it up and running in time for the holiday season.

"My Big Gay Italian Mid Life Crisis" will be directed by James Valletti. Valletti's credits include Off-Broadway: Tales From The Tunnel (Director), Rubble starring Bruce Vilanch (Director), Altar Boyz (Asst. Director), The Divine Sister (Asst. Director). He has also worked in various capacities on the Broadway shows: The Velocity of Autumn, Evita, Matilda, Fiddler On The Roof, Little Women, Phantom Of The Opera and The Times They Are A-Changin. James is an associate member of SDC.

Presented by Bianco Productions, Anthony J. Wilkinson who originated the role of Anthony Pinnunziato back in November of 2003 in the wedding, will continue on in his role. Debra Toscano, Meagan Robar and Liz Gerecitano will continue on in the new productions in the roles of "Aunt Toniann," "Connie" and "Lucia" while Chad Kessler who played multiple roles in both the Wedding and the Funeral will take on Wilkinson's latest new character, Larry Fanazzi. Other casting to be announced at the end of September. Emily DeSimone will be the Costume Designer for the new show which will continue under the General Management of 22Q Entertainment.
