HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! | Baja California | Scoop.it
to my friends at 500px! It's the beginning of a New Year and of the Gray Whale season in Southern California. Whalewatching trips leave from the main harbors daily now until April. If you travel to the nursery lagoons of Baja California, you can see the mothers and calves up close like this, from late February to early April. This photo is from my gallery "The Friendly Whales of LSI". --A mother Gray Whale checks out the tourists in Laguna San Ignacio, Baja California.--
