The co-founder of Dolce & Gabbana, Stefano Gabbana states that he doesn't want to be called "gay" because the term was made for people who wanted to put a label on themselves. The designer Dolce & Gabbana has raised eyebrows when it comes to the LGBTQ+ issues because they made a comment about children being born through in vitro, saying that they are children of chemistry. Many other designers called them out for this and they had to backtrack and think about what they were saying and how insensitive that was to the LGBTQ+ community. They came back stating that "we do believe in freedom and love".
