I wanted to scoop this story because not many people want to come face to face with the LGBT situation in anything when it comes to the entertainment industry.

I have learned this for sure, and that is that everybody was really created equal. Those who are prejudice or discriminate against others don't believe we were created equal.

Me personally, I am glad to see Joey Suarez kicking down walls to bridge the gap between normal and what most consider abnormal. It's great to see he had the guts/nerves to break down barriers and increase acceptance. In my opinion, I don't think anyone is better than anyone else. I use to have a hard time accepting gay people, and it wasn't that long ago that I had that attitude towards them, But God has helped me to realize me and no one else has the right to suppress anyone's talent or gift and take it away from them just because they don't live the life we think they should live. As long as the music sounds good and has a positive message, I will support gay and straight alike when it comes to music.
ilovegay.net has been proven to be a reliable source for LGBT information in the entertainment industry. I was able to click on the link and it gave me this story, so I know it is reliable. It's not just reliable for this story, but it has given the world and especially the gay community a lot of stories concerning the LGBT community.

ShortList 2018: 'Little Potato' Tells Gay Russian Story With an Almodovar Twist

ShortList 2018: 'Little Potato' Tells Gay Russian Story With an Almodovar Twist | LGBT Movies, Theatre, FIlm & Music | Scoop.it

Wes Hurley wanted to turn the story of his journey from Russia to the United States into a movie, but he wasn't thinking of a short documentary. Instead, Hurley wrote a feature script about growing up gay in the repressive and homophobic Russian society, about his and his mother's move to the United States and about a bizarre twist that followed after she became the mail-order bride to an intensely religious man in Seattle. But somewhere along the line, Hurley got a small grant and decided to make a short documentary and a complementary virtual-reality short as a way to build momentum for his feature.

This source seems very legit, it has a writer and different official links on the page. It doesn’t chooses sides and seems to go perfectly with the story line . The source has links to his official site , I’m not exactly sure if that’s showing that it has some type of relation with Brody Ray. I wouldn’t say this website is a major information resource because it’s call I Love Gay so I would think it’s made for Gay people and would be slightly bias in different circumstances.

Curtain Up: LGBT Theatre in New York

Curtain Up: LGBT Theatre in New York | LGBT Movies, Theatre, FIlm & Music | Scoop.it

The performing arts and the rights of LGBT persons merge in the City of New York, where the plight of one issue or group often ties into the plight of the other. Creativity is as much an expectation when discussing New York as the perpetual construction and reconstruction occurring daily in Manhattan. The city sustains itself on the arts, with an abundance of museums, theatres, galleries, film centers, etc., both the prime (i.e. Lincoln Center) and the innovative (i.e. Hamilton) alive and well, creating important works. Experiences in the arts exist for a wide range of the populace. New York has, for much of its history, been a haven for groups and peoples without an opportunity to be welcomed elsewhere… including the LGBT community.
